Jira Oauth 2.0 Tips

This article will go over helpful troubleshooting tips to help with Jira Oauth 2.0 connections.

  1. Make sure that your organization has had this feature request enabled for your org. It will look something like this:

  2. Use a service account and ensure that the account has the proper scopes necessary to maintain the connection between LinearB and Jira. These scopes are:

    read:board-scope.admin:jira-software
read:board-scope:jira-software
read:issue-details:jira
read:jira-user
read:jira-work
read:jql:jira
read:project:jira
read:sprint:jira-software
write:jira-work

    Note: If the scopes are incorrect or you are logged in with the incorrect user, the screen will show the following:
